Hotel Preview: The Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas
Well I’m off to Las Vegas for another convention, which is about the 20th time I’ve traveled to Sin City for work and play.
Similar to last year at this time, I’m again staying at the spectacular Aria Resort and Casino. The Aria is located smack dab in the heart of the CityCenter Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Opened in late 2009, The Aria Resort and Casino boasts a whopping 4,004 guest rooms, including 568 suites. As a true testament to the outstanding customer service reputation of the MGM International resort, Aria has been awarded the exclusive AAA Five Diamond Award.
Now I’m here for a conference and the Aria Resort and Casino convention center has over 300,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, so it’s the perfect location for either large or small conventions. All of the conference rooms are equipped with WiFi, so you should be all connected during your stay. In fact, you will find WiFi located pretty much throughout the whole resort, so feel free to send those selfies to your favorite social network.
If gambling is your passion, the Aria Resort and Casino boasts over 150,000 square feet of gaming space, with approximately 150 table games and over 1,900 slot machines. For recreation, there are three pools and one-adult only pool, LIQUID. I am also looking forward to the Spa and Fitness Center. Whether it’s a massage or just a simple workout, the Spa and Fitness Center is the perfect way to begin or end your day. But does a Vegas day really ever end?
Now who could forget about the food. From barMASA to Sage to my favorite tapas restaurant, Julian Serrano, you will find over a dozen restaurants and coffee shops and approximately ten bars and nightclubs to fill your fancy. If you have time for a tequila or two, I highly recommend a stop at Javier’s. Ask for a mezcal margarita and it will certainly please ya.
For entertainment, the Cirque du Soleil’s Zarkana is currently playing in Aria’s 1,800 seat theater and if you love shopping, then you’ll llove that The Aria Resort and Casino is located right next to The Shops at Crystals. Featuring such notable brands as Saint Laurent, Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton, every time I visit Las Vegas my wallet always gets a little lighter. Not from the gambling, but the shopping.
I can’t wait to tell you more about my stay here at The Aria Resort and Casino. I’m sure it will be as spectacular as ever. So what are you waiting for? Head on over to Aria’s website and book a your hotel tonight.
