Well last night
about a half past nine
I decided to
make something divine.

I pitted cherries
some bourbon I grabbed
added some sugar
soon I would be glad.

A slow simmer boiled
to dissolve the sweet cane
then into the cold fridge
soon smiles did reign.

One cup of cherries
into a container
cooled bourbon poured over
lest we be complainers.

The boozy bourbon cherries
were sweet though were spiked

For my recipe creation, I actually used a one cup of Maker’s Mark Bourbon as well as 1/3 cup of sugar. It seem to work ideal for my glass container. There is no debate, these turned out great.
