Here’s a simple, spicy mango margarita recipe.

On a hot day like today we’re making a spicy mango margarita because right now mango is so hot.

And I’m not talking about the Saturday Night Live character Mango, I’m talking about the fruit.

You see, last week we were at Trader Joe’s and everything is mango right now. Mango lemonade, dried mango and even mango popcorn wither toasted coconut (delish by the way).

So this recipe is pretty simple to make and with just a few shakes, you’ll have two servings of our spicy mango margarita.


  1. 1 1/2 ounces of tequila
  2. 1 1/2 ounces of triple-sec
  3. 3 ounces mango lemonade
  4. Two dashes of Tabasco sauce
  5. Handful of ice
  6. 1 tbsp. Tajin spice
  7. Two glasses
  8. Shaker

First, cut a lime in half and rim each glass and pour the tanjin spice on a plate. If you don’t have tajin, then use chili powder.

Second, place the ice into the shaker, add tequila, triple-sec, mango lemonade and Tabasco sauce. Today we used Espolòn reposado tequila. Close the shaker and shake away for 15 seconds.

Third, pour an equal amount into each glass and dash with an extra shake of tajin spice. If you have any frozen mango, throw a couple cubes into your glass to use as an “ice cube.”

This spicy mango margarita has a little bit of kick, but isn’t over-powering, but boy oh boy, this spicy mango margarita is mmm mmm good and oh so nice.
