With several recent posts about my rededication to a healthier lifestyle, I can proudly say that as of this morning, I have lost 27 pounds since I started exercising more often and dieting about four months ago. I am about to head on over to GNC to pick up another bottle of thermogenic, but I also recently came across a great tasting, high protein chip from Quest Nutrition, appropriately named “Protein Chips.”

Just like when I wrote another review on a different protein chip, Protein Bites, I have to tell you, these chips are to dynamite. Available in many different flavors, such as Barbeque, Sour Cream & Onion, Cheddar & Sour Cream, Sea Salt and Salt & Vinegar, the Protein Chips from Quest Nutrition are light, airy and certainly have a great crunch. In fact, the BBQ chips I did just munch.

Each bag is 32 grams or 1-1/8 ounces and at 120 calories per serving, you should not feel guilty if you sneak a second bag. With only 5 total carbohydrates and two grams of fat, each serving packs a whopping 21 grams of protein. Yes, that was nota typo. I’m not sure how they pack so much protein into these healthy tasty chips, but I’m glad they did. There is no soy, these chips are gluten-free and are simply “beyond just baked.”

Out of the three Quest Protein Chips, I love the BBQ flavor, followed closely by the Sour Cream & Onion. I’ve never been a big fan of Salt & Vinegar, but I have to tell you, Quest’s Protein Chips may have converted my taste buds. In addition, I have also discovered at GNC a swath of tasty, healthy protein bars from Quest Nutrition, but I will leave that review for another day and time.

To summarize my review, I wrote this haiku:

I love eating baked.
Love BBQ Protein Chips.
Lips I’m still licking.
