We Live In A Complex Nation

The birch and the bees.
Walk through our garden of life.
One poly-nation.

This haiku was for the Baffled Haiku Challenge on Twitter, where the challenge word for the day was to use the word garden in a haiku. I snapped this picture on my morning walk with Charlie, the most awesome shitzu in the world. Ok, perhaps just on my block.

Where I live, is somewhat at the intersection of the city and the country. My “garden” is the birch and pine trees that surround me. I also used a play on words for pollination.
