Last summer I received for free for testing purposes, the Great Aussie BBQ Grill Brush. Although I used this awesome BBQ grill brush last summer, as well as throughout the winter months, I finally had a chance to put my thoughts together about this grill brush.

When it comes to grilling or more importantly cleaning the grill, I have searched for the perfect BBQ grill brush. I have tried many grill brushes over the years only to be ultimately disappointed in either a handle that is too short or brass bristles that fall out too quickly. I have even tried various methods of cleaning the grill, such as cleaning the grill when it is still hot (my preferred method) or waiting until it cools down.

The Product Poet, BBQ Grill Brush

With the Great Aussie BBQ Grill Brush, I never have to worry about cleaning my grill when it is hot or when it cold, because the stainless steel bristles are durable, but more importantly have not damaged my porcelain coated grates on either my gas grill of my Big Green Egg.

In fact, I have used my Great Aussie BBQ Grill Brush on my porcelain grates, my ceramic grates, my stainless steel grates and even my cast iron cooking grid. With the 18 inch, heavy-duty handle, I also never have to worry about getting my hands too close to the grill or Big Green Egg and with a little extra elbow grease, by grill or Big Green Egg is perfectly cleaned in a matter of just a few strokes. It is that easy and simple to use.

One of the suggestions on the box of the Great Aussie BBQ Grill Brush is to first dip the stainless steel bristles into water. Now I didn’t try this and I can truly say, I don’t think it is necessary as my grill and Big Green Egg gets clean every time I use by Great Aussie BBQ Brush.

Even though I grill year-round through the harsh Minnesota winters, I am really looking forward to using my Great  Aussie BBQ Grill Brush this upcoming grilling season. This BBQ grill brush is the perfect complement for any of your BBQ tools that you may need.

So without further ado, here is my review in haiku:

Gets clean all the time.
Nothing to bristle about.
Five out of five stars.
